Jumping on the blogging bandwagon

It’s 2014. Everyone and their mom has a blog. (Literally. My mom has a blog.) I’ve dabbled in blogging in the past – for school, for work, for fun – but it never stuck. I’m ready to change that.

Why start blogging now?

Why not?

Sure, I wish I had started a more consistent blog years ago. But I didn’t. I don’t want to still be wishing that in another two years – so I’m going to start now, because better late than never!

It's never too late

It’s never too late

The other big reason is simple as well: I love to write. I don’t get the chance on a daily basis at my job – so I’m going to create an opportunity for myself to write whatever I feel like it and a platform to share my words with all of you.

On that note: What am I planning to write about?

For now, as the title of this site hopefully indicates, I am going to write about the things that bring me genuine delight. Is that vague? Why yes, yes it is. It’s intentionally vague. I don’t want to pigeonhole myself. I hope to create all sorts of content, and I want to leave myself open to take this in whatever direction it wants to go.

For now, I’ll be writing about adventures around NYC, travels to exciting (and not-so-exciting) places, and whatever else I feel like writing about. Because it’s my blog and I can do what I want! But I do hope that you’ll all stick around for the ride.

To get started, I’ll be participating in the Brave Love Blog #Blogtemberchallenge throughout the next month, in addition to posting other content about my adventures. In the meantime, you can hop on over to my about page to learn more about me and what I’m all about!

See you all around soon!
